What is TCI?

Trinity Community Initiatives (T.C.I.) was formed in 2004 to assist Trinity to take forward the social witness of the church in the local community. We host and facilitate events, courses and activities for a wide range of voluntary, community and statutory organisations. In this way we seek to serve our community, acting as a hub and focal point.


The facilities are based at Trinity Methodist’s modern multi-purpose two-storey building. These are approximately five minutes drive from the city centre and are readily accessible by car or bus. There is private secure parking for up to 130 cars within a fenced car park.

In the complex, there are two main halls seating up to 350 and a range of conference and seminar rooms for groups up to 80. All rooms are adaptable with various seating arrangements. A spacious and welcoming foyer is suitable for displays and is an ideal welcome area.


There are two spacious multipurpose halls ideal for large conferences, exhibitions, fairs or recreational activities. The main hall seats up to 350 people and the second hall 200 people. Comprehensive audio-visual facilities are available including a loop system for people with hearing difficulties.

All rooms have disabled access and there is a lift to the second floor.

An informal coffee bar area using cafe style round tables and chairs is located off the main foyer and entrance to the centre. A serving hatch adjoins a modern kitchen facility making it ideal for informal coffee breaks. There is also a serving dock located on the first floor lobby just outside the main conference, training & seminar rooms. A full catering service can be provided or self-catering can be arranged.
